Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Your purchase of one of our services and/or products implies that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions as an agreement between you (the client and your staff/colleagues) and us (Insanity Design Ltd).

2. DISCLAIMERS
We reserve the right to refuse to construct or host a website which we may judge as unfit due to content or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited by, sites containing adult oriented material such as pornography, sites which promote hatred towards persons belonging to any ethnic group, religion or sexual orientation and sites which infringe copyright or are contrary to UK laws.
3. AUTHORISATION
You are engaging Insanity Design Ltd as an independent contractor for the specific project of designing, developing and/or improving your website. You hereby authorize Insanity Design Ltd to access your hosting account for the purposes of fulfilling the terms of this contract. You also authorize Insanity Design Ltd to publish your completed website to Web search engines, as well as other Web directories and indexes.
4. PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY
Before work begins on a commission, Insanity Design Ltd requires a deposit from you. This will amount to 50% of the total cost of the commission or £100 (whichever is less in amount). The remaining balance of the commission is to be paid in full no later than 30 days after the completion of your website.
Invoices for completed work will only be submitted to you when all parties are in agreement that the website is completed in full.
If you halt work, and apply in writing for a refund, work completed shall be billed at our standard hourly rate of £10 per hour and deducted from the initial deposit. The remaining balance shall then be returned to you.
5. LICENCE
All material, including text and images, supplied by you and used in the construction of your website, will remain your property. All such materials will be assumed to be the rightful property of the client and free to use without fear of breach of copyright laws.
Any images and/or text supplied by Insanity Design Ltd from a third party will remain copyrighted to their respective owners until payment is received in full, and may be subject to owners licence and/or royalty fees.
The copyright for all material provided by Insanity Design Ltd such as html or serverside code, graphics or images will remain the property of Insanity Design Ltd until payment has been made in full, whereupon they will become property of the client.
6. COMPLETION OF WORK
During the web design process, your website will be hosted on our server. When both Insanity Design Ltd and you agree that the website meets the criteria required, Insanity Design Ltd will invoice for the full amount due for the website, and on receipt of payment will publish your website to the desired location.
Insanity Design Ltd and the client must work together to complete the website in a timely manner. If during the website design cycle, the client does not supply the content required to complete the commission within a reasonable amount of time, Insanity Design Ltd will consider that the client wishes to cancel the commission.
If the client wishes Insanity Design Ltd to maintain or update a website as a separate commission, Insanity Design will negotiate with the client a maintenance contract appropriate to the amount of work required.
Insanity Design Ltd does not undertake to maintain, update, or promote your website as part of the design commission. If you wish Insanity Design Ltd to perform any of these tasks for your website as a separate commission, we will make every reasonable effort to promote the website effectively, but we cannot guarantee high places in search engine results.
7. CHANGE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time with no prior notice. Where a contract exists, the client will be informed of revisions as and when they are issued.
8. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By digitally signing this agreement, the client acknowledges to have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions of this agreement and agrees to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.
